Fingers of Quercus agrifolia on southeast slope of Little Dalton Canyon. Chaparral chamise-Ceanothus type. Open type lower right corner is pure chamise. Northerly slopes a mixed chaparral type.
Shows 1924 burn coming back to mixed brush. Also on right are shown the more barren south slopes coming back to a chamise type with Lotus scoparius, Ceanothus cuneatus, Rhus ovata, mixed in.
Taken on the northeast slope of Monrovia Peak and shows a portion of the 1924 burn with fire killed bigcone spruce to be seen around the edge of the spruce areas.
