On ridge one miles southeast of Cuesta Pass. One of the large types on this ridge. A dense type on north or east slopes of all sprouting species due to repeated burning. Species dominance is Adenostoma fasciculatum.Arctostaphylos glandulosa, and Quercus wislizenii frutescens. Assoc. species are Lithocarpus densiflora, Arctostaphylos andersonii pechoensis.
